Is alcohol allowed?
Alcohol, tobacco of any kind and illegal drugs of any kind, are not allowed.
Can we bring candles?
No Fire or open flame of any kind is allowed. Battery operated candles and lights only for evening ceremonies.
Is the chapel wheelchair accessible?
There is no wheelchair access to the chapel. There is a lovely walk down to the chapel either by wooded trail or gravel pathway. For those needing assistance to the Chapel, we can provide a ride, at no extra charge, in our open air 6 passenger UTV we call “The Dove”. Guests individual size and weight limits apply.
Can I cancel my wedding package?
Yes. 2 weeks notice prior to the date of arrival for a full refund less a 20% cancellation processing fee.
How do I get my marriage license in Missouri?
You can apply for your marriage license at any County Recorder of Deeds office in the State of Missouri. You will need $51 cash for the license fee. License is good for 30 days. Both parties must be present with valid photo ID. Call the county office for further details. There is no waiting period upon receiving the license.

Our intent is for all guests to have an enjoyable, safe and positive experience at Ivy Jean’s Farmstead and the Whippoorwill Ridge Log Chapel property.
We require Respectful Behavior at all times on our property. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason.

Handicap Accessibility /Limited Assistance Needed

Ceremony Payment Policy
You may pay your full package price at the time of booking or pay half as a deposit upon booking and then pay balance due 7 days prior to your scheduled ceremony.

Farmstead Rules
As a guest on our farm, we want you to be informed of a few basic laws of nature and rules on the farm. Our intent is for you to have an enjoyable, safe and entertaining experience today.
This is a real-life country farm in a natural, rural outdoors Ozark setting.
NO Smoking allowed anywhere except at the only designated smoking area up front by the county road at the Flag Pole.
There are uneven walking surfaces and natural uneven and sometimes rough variations in the beautiful hillside terrain. Walk slowly and enjoy. If you need a walking stick bring one.
Out in the open-air countryside there are things that fly over, crawl under and buzz by in between, things that bite and things that sting, plants that smell good and some cause a rash or a scratch. It’s Nature, come prepared.
All animals use their mouths for eating and communicating. For your safety and the animals, please keep all of your body parts away from the mouth of any animal. Do not enter fenced off areas.
Be respectful and courteous to all the plants and animals, this is their home too.
Parents and Guardians please keep close supervision on your children at all times.
